Where the LNG stations are

Nearly every public LNG station in the country belongs to Clean Energy, which built them in the early 2010s along the California freight lanes and the I-10, I-35 and I-45 corridors in Texas, often at Pilot Flying J travel centers. A few remain in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Washington and Wisconsin, and a lone site in Idaho serves the national laboratory there. The list has been shrinking for a decade as fleets that bought LNG tractors replaced them with CNG, and several of the stations now dispense CNG made on site from the liquid as well; those appear on both this page and the state pages.

LNG fueling needs training: cryogenic gloves, a face shield, and a vent-and-connect procedure that differs by dispenser. Every station on this list expects a fleet driver who has done it before, and most require a fleet card or account rather than walk-up credit.
