These guides exist because the station listings on this site use a vocabulary that nobody explains at the pump. Quick-fill and time-fill, 3,000 and 3,600 psi, GGE and DGE, Class 8 access, RNG: each one decides whether a given station is useful to you, and each one is a field in the DOE record that we turn into a badge. The fueling guide covers the badges; the others cover the fuel itself, what it costs, and the two forms it comes in.
Every number in them is dated and sourced. Prices come from the DOE's quarterly Alternative Fuel Price Report, station counts come from the weekly AFDC pull, and vehicle and engine facts come from the manufacturers. Where the arithmetic is ours, we say so and show the inputs.
